Well Darren, there is smugglers of course, but you are right, and I admit
one of the other hopes I had for startraders is that trees brothers would
add access when they start porting some of their other games from Android
sinse they have quite a collection, and while some are definitely out in
access terms (sadly including their other Ios game Heroes of steel), some
might be doable, such as their cyber nights game which would be awsome.
The main problem as I said is that firstly most interesting looking games
cost money and don't have a free version, and secondly a lot of games which
list themselves as text games don't seem accessible at all.
this surprised me sinse I thought the point of vo was that it read on
screen text and wasn't specifically tied to ascii output as with windows
screen readers, but sadly that doesn't seem the case, which is a shame.
Also, on the only title I tried that vo could! read most of the on screen
text of, the Surviver Z zombie game matters seemed so incoherent I would
have no idea what to suggest to developers in terms of necessary fixes.
Still, at least with more and more games being made for Ios we can always
hope something else will turn up in the future, as well as what established
developers might do next.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
