Something I picked up in the light cars game which gave me an idea. The
concept of having a surprise packet is very nice. I hear the item car
coming, I don't know at all what that item is until I picked it up.
Let's use sod as an example for the contrary. I'm playing the demo of
sod, only the first level. I'm planning to purchase the full sod. I
don't know if it is working on the rest of the levels but in level 1 to
which the demo is restricted, if I hear the object locator sound my o
key is telling me for example: med kit in 5 feet. It would make the game
ore fun if there's no voice description of the object ahead, only an
object locator sound. Then when I move forward and pick it up and I hear
I picked up a med kit it's a surprise I got by not knowing before I
picked it up what it is. That's what I experience in the first level of
sod: the object locator telling me what the object is before picking it
up. You guys that play the full sod, is the object locator behaving
the same way in the rest of the game?

It's just a suggestion. It's nice to first pick up an item and then
after picking it up hear what it is. It's like buying a lucky packet.
Although you can by feelling and pressing the packet get a little idea
what might be inside, you actually first get to know what's inside the
packet when you open it. The same with games. I feel the surprise
packet concept makes it a bit more fun. Do you know of any games other
than light car that keeps objects as a surprise until picked up?
