i feel like i should offer a public apology. i did not intend to stir up so many opinions - and i was clearly not informed of past problems thomas has caused here - and i did not mean to stir that up. i can't say i've conducted myself very well - but was dismayed to receive off-list email from a member of this list detailing his past encounter with thomas as though it was something i needed to care about in order to survive here. i find /that/ sort of behavior unacceptable and off-putting to talk about a lead developer behind his back in isolation. i understand decisions are decisions - so i am going to look into this mdoc language and apply it to this situation and i hope my efforts will be appreciated. i want to apologize and offer my apologies to all concerned once again, and i hope we can move forward from this.
