I wrote a memoir about my life in New Mexico including the first few
years and every summer until I went to university. People who read it
who know me say they can hear my voice when they read it. LLMs were
not available when I wrote it.
I do wonder what an LLM would do to/for/with it? Probably mangle it a
little.
I read it *for* your voice as much as anything... we are a
half-generation apart, but many of your childhood experiences vaguely
paralleled my own. The fact of your own moving on to a much more
worldly and high-tech career was also comfortingly familiar.
I would wish yet more such memoirs from this crowd, but not sure how I'd
feel if everybody jumped in and asked their favorite LLM to write it for
them!
