Hi! We are running Freesurfer on a central server and I don't have a second one at hand with Freesurfer installed to test this, unfortunately. It seems that Freeview is working fine now, so this may well have been just a hickup. However, the problem persists with tkmedit. If you had any leads on how to fix this, it would be great. I love the vintage feel of tkmedit and use it quite a bit :)
