Hi Freesurfers, I am processing a patient with severe cortical atrophy and exceptionally large ventricles. Reviewing the subcortical segmentation, I found that large volumes within the lateral ventricles were excluded entirely from the aseg file. I checked to see if these volumes were also absent in norm.mgz, but there is no problem with that file. I reran the subcortical segmentation, and met the same issue.
Is this a common problem that people run into? I would appreciate any advice to help guide me in troubleshooting this one!
