It includes a USB port in addition to the centronics port. I have been using freedos/4dos for years with this prontr in an office running WordStar and Foxpro. I loaded Bitstream fonts for wordstar about 20 years ago, and they work fine. The trick will be finding these printers, so I buy a few as a backup, although the toner and drums are readily available.
