I'm not convinced that Eternity is worth using anymore. It just doesn't seem to build *and* work properly, even older 3.29 with makefile. CDoom 2.07 does build but has semi-minor issues. Maybe that will be easier to get working, but it's like 320x200 only and MUSLIB is a bit quirky sounding. It's frustrating because I have no idea which GCC is most suitable, and I'd really not use a super ancient version or honestly even rely on specific ones. Any GCC should "just work", but sadly that's not the case. I'm not sure if I should use SMMU or MBF-with-fixes or what. I guess I'll have to fiddle with it some more. The path of least resistance would be to just use some (old) prebuilt .EXE, but in my mind, if you can't rebuild it, it's almost useless (to us). Oh well, just wanted to give a (small) "heads up" on my (unimpressive) progress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
