Dell PowerEdge Remote Access (DRAC) cards also provided this as well, and for a while there, you could actually VNC into them. But HP offers iLO for no extra charge or discount upon removal (DRACs are worth about $250) and has become such a prominent "must-have" datacenter feature that the "iLO" term is beginning to become genericized for web-accessible and virtual disc-capable onboard out-of-band IP-console management. -- =========================================================== Peter C.
