So far, thank's for your hints. It's very interesting to read the different opinions... (this is still one of the great things about FreeBSD: a great community) I think AfterStep isn't intersting anymore, actually - I really like afterstep ;) Most users recommend fluxbox or a very slight, tiling window manager, xmonad. In the next few days, I will try OpenBOX and xmonad.
