Maybe I'm not entitled to give my opinion, but here's my vision of what could be a correct behavior towards the knowledge that we are spreading: it's as free as we can make it, because we want everyone to have access to it, and nobody should have a special power nor ownership on it. So making books and selling them at the price of the cost is okay, the extreme limit: the sustainable limit. Selling them with profit is not. Spreading through healthy, citizen, public or free NGO or associations is "promising". Dealing with for-profit, governmental, financial or private organisms or corporations is "worsening".
