Depending on certain font configurations, the character ⊞ is displayed as ⊠.
(I assume this is a problem in fontconfig but it could be somewhere else.)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure GNOME Terminal or Foot to use the IBM Plex Mono font.
2. Insert or paste the character ⊞ (SQUARED PLUS, codepoint 0x229E).
Actual Results:
The displayed character is ⊠ (SQUARED TIMES, codepoint 0x22A0)
