Bug ID: 2415169
Summary: Should /usr/lib/fontconfig/cache/ moved to
/var/cache/...?
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: fontconfig
Severity: medium
Assignee: [email protected]

Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
It seems that the files in /usr/lib/fontconfig/cache/ are generated files.
Should they be moved to /var/cache/fonconfig/?
I am not sure about this, but my understanding is that /usr can be made
read-only.
Do all programs read "/etc/fonts/fonts.conf" to get the location of this cache
files?
Reproducible: Always
