The problem with your definition, Sébastien, is that you target all of those platforms via AIR, so you're not actually describing something that is under Apache Flex control. Flex just happens to be able to take advantage of that runtime to target different platforms.
Using haxe as a language would allow us to target multiple platforms in a similar way to Flex/AIR.
