Wasn't the point of the above discussion (and others) that there would be an API/bridge/whatever that would allow compilation/publication from AS/MXML to lots of different platforms? Like Android, or to Flash Next or JS, iOS etc.
How about if we look at this from our various perspectives/strengths/interests and write up (on this list, in as many threads) what would be needed (not necessarily possible) to make the above happen? Let's be constructive and figure this out, Open Source style!
