For what it's worth, I second this. I like the logo and I think it's an excellent start, but a solid logo is absolutely crucial and refining it should involve critical discussion and not just voting. For example, the multi-color version puts us really close to Chrome, Joomla, and the Windows logo; and the weights of the elements feel off (e.g., the manifold thingy dominates over the text rather than complementing it). But my point is not specific criticisms (I am not a designer); I just want to second the call to approach this more formally.
