I don't think this throws a wrench into anything; it is a valid
question. If we were to choose the multi-color logo; it would make
sense to use those colors as a brand palette.
So, if we wanted to pull some color palette out of the chosen logo;
I'm all for it.
I am adamantly against the multi-color version of the logo. It is
very different than what I voted on.

A lot of companies have a palette of colors for their brand, is there
anything wrong with settling on a few colors that can be used for
Apache Flex. Specifically identifying the hex values for said colors
and people can use them as they like?

I'd put them all on vote and a simple +1 would do just fine, IMHO.

Depends on how we'll be voting.
Would we be voting on 1 of the 5 propositions? (4 single colors and 1
multicolor). If so the votes could be close and another voting would be
required.
Or maybe multicolor vs blue?
