As suggested in http://markmail.org/message/hw25dha7dhxp77nk I think lazy consensus is good enough unless you expect your blog post to be controversial. (and a lazy consensus doesn't need a [VOTE] subject line header, see http://www.apache.org/foundation/voting.html#LazyConsensus - it's not a real vote, your just asking if anyone's opposed and indicating how long you'll wait to take action). Anybody can request to turn a lazy consensus into an actual [VOTE], but in general it's best to avoid over-voting on everything ;-) -Bertrand
