Lots of decisions regarding Spark were made to make integration with FC
possible.  IMHO, we could have retro-fitted a new skinning model onto the MX
components in less time.

The community can decide that Spark is not where they want to put their
energy and decide to put it somewhere else.  I plan to use my whiteboard
space for that something else.
