I think only Nicolas was against his patches in general, sometimes for a fair reason, others probably not so much. I at least helped him every time i could.

There has to be another reason for him to leave like he did.


And i can here only speak of myself not about how paul sees it, so it
is my view here:

Posting a patch that is technically correct and fine and then having to
deal with endless debates is annoying.

Thats also why i keep asking for plugin support, as it allows people
to work on their code under their own terms.
