Can you point to where he blocked such a move? Being vocally against it isn't blocking as he can easily get outvoted.

Afair, the main arguments against that move was the need to use web interfaces for tasks that until now were handled with a command line. But otherwise, it's been mentioned in every meeting and the only thing missing is a vote for it, and probably deciding where it would be hosted.

Using a mailing list is like using a fax machine or BBS. It's no surprise
we have no young blood.

On Twitter/X I see weekly complaints from people about our antiquated patch
review process.

I agree with this, and I'd like to move to gitlab or a similar MR based solution with integrated CI soon.


Has it ever occured to you that if someone disagrees with you they are not
"attacks"? There are plenty of new ideas and it's only you and a few others
that talk repeatedly about ancient history. It's as if this current setup
is highly convenient for you...
