As somebody who participated in that thread and made similar arguments, I find the response utterly ridiculous. What is even supposed to be provocative in that response? It is curt, perhaps dismissive - but then again, it is also a neutrally expressed opinion backed by actual experience. I fail to see anything "unnecessarily" provocative. The only part of it which is truly unnecessary without losing the meaning is the word "even", which hardly makes a difference to the tonality. If the CC finds it provocative to say that a task is easy or of low financial value, then I can only logically infer that the CC is abusing its trust to push an agenda which disagrees with not only Derek's opinions but also his empirical findings. Marvin already pointed it out, but when you put it in perspective, this is blatant double standards and (a vain attempt at) censorship. Now here is a very simple guideline for CC member: if your decision can't stand public scrutinity, it is probably not a good decision. -- レミ・デニ-クールモン http://www.remlab.net/ _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-devel mailing list ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-devel To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email ffmpeg-devel-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe".
