That's not the prob. I used the 8.2 xcdroast to copy various CDs
(including the DL-Edition of 8.2), to copy audio CDs and to do my system
backup on a CD/RW.
md5sum was no problem, all DL CDs I burned for friends were ok.
The prob is that it doesn't recognize the original Mandrake PowerPack
CDs. It keeps saying that there is a "Blank CD/RW" in the drive. When I
eject this and put any other CD, even an original WinME CD in the drive
the CD gets recognized and is ready to be cloned. Only Mandrake CDs don't
want to be cloned!
As I described before it was not a hardware issue because with gcombust I
was able to do the copy.
