Yes, of course, I did that before I even started with xcdroast because
xcdroast wouldn't even let me enter the Reader Device if it wasn't scsi.
One really gets lazy with the time. A year ago I did all my cd burning
with the cli commands mkisofs and cdrecord. Now I even install 2
frontends because one doesn't work on my box.
It's pure decadence!
