That's exactly what I did - switched to RH7.1.  The thing is,,,I've
been using Mandrake for a long time and I miss it.  I think I'm going
to try Mdk with the RH kernel.  I was hoping someone knew enough about
mdk internals to surmise whether or not Mandrake-specific apps have
shithooks deep in the (heavily patched) Mdk kernels.
