Hello again, again :
I have an icon active : MyPC / Access telephonic to the networks.
This is because the windows'98 client was an independent machine (a
normal PC) whith an own modem to Internet access. Eight days ago.
Of course, please, remember that the W'98 is well connected with
Samba to Linux (please see 1st message on this same 'thread' ) by
ethernet/hub. It works fantastic.
[[ Note : The cable was tested in Netbeui protocol betwen three W'98
machines by ethernet cards / hub too. All was working fine for longtime.
]]
IMPORTANT : ------------------------------------------
Maybe I must to (disable) *Eliminate* this service in W'98 and to
work *only* with TCP/IP protocol, because in any docum. don't mention it.
**** MyPC / Access telephonic to the networks.****
------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your observation.
I'll go to make a new test taking off the "phone access to network".
See you !
