Thanks for the information.  I tried Adams suggestion from a command
line
as I explained to him and got the same error.  And yes I did see and
try 
Andre's hint, as I replied to him it seems that I am not getting to the
same
Gnome Help page he referenced since the last "🡒 Cannot print
mail, add or save attachments, or open the help" part of his suggestion
does not appear in the page I am going to.
