Hi, you can set the variable and run evolution from a terminal as mentioned by Adam. $ WEBKIT_FORCE_SANDBOX=0 evolution You could also set the variable e.g. by your login shell's user configuration. Assuming bash, then add to $HOME/.bashrc: export WEBKIT_FORCE_SANDBOX=0 However, I don't know, if Adams hint is or isn't correct, I only want to explain how usage of variables does work.
