IMAP doesn't have a move mail function - it is implemented on most systems as copy followed by delete. If you have set your evo to show deleted messages, then it will still show those messages as deleted until you purge them. The system can't do copy - delete - purge automatically because IMAP can only purge whole mail boxes, it can't purge individual messages, and there would be an outcry if a by-product of moving a message was to purge the whole mail box (I know lots of people who use their deleted mail as an archive system!).
