Yikes. So it took an hour to get 40% added charge at $1/kwh? So $37 to get about 100 miles? Do I get that right?
So let’s say a gas car of that size would get 33 mpg so 100 miles is 3 g @ $3 /g is $9 I knew fast charger was expensive, but wow. And $1 / idle minute. I understand they don’t want non paying customers taking up space, but dang. Well it is good as a backup plan. There are Tesla chargers everywhere. I do have to give them credit for that. Thanks for the data point! I’ve been wondering about getting an adapter for our bolt. -Steve > On Mar 9, 2025, at 9:10 PM, Mark Hanson via EV <ev@lists.evdl.org> wrote: > > Hi Folks, > > I tried out the $236 purchased NACS - CCS supercharger adapter today on my > 20' Chevy Bolt that normally has a 50KW charge rate on Electrify America > (VW) Fast Chargers. > > The dealer was clueless, *no* instructions in the "GM" box.
