Since the NACS to CCS adapter was $236 and the aftermarket $180 that Phil and
Cor mentioned had safety issues (on disconnect) I sprang for the few extra
bucks. A friend bought one from Ford for his Mach E mustang and me for my Bolt
from Chevy. The clueless stealerships (that sell them) didn’t know if there
was an app or how to pay with your credit card at the “pump”. With my Tesla Y,
I initially went online with Tesla and gave the mothership my credit card
number but not sure how to do it with the adapter.
I heard there was an app to get set up with Tesla with non Tesla vehicles. Can
anyone recommend the best one?
