Still, I'll say again, you can't just use that system without
reverse-engineering all the CAN signals.

I was guessing that, though it is interesting that ALL the wires from
the J1772 jack go to the Inverter box on top of the motor - which (to
me) implies that it is also the Charger. I guess there must be some
other connector on the inverter that provided the AC power to the
charger? I haven't notice any large unused ones yet.
The junkyard pulled the whole unit. Motor, Transmission, electronics
box on top (with black plastic cover), attached cables, etc...
Now I'm wondering if any of the Leaf conversion things available can
handle the J1772 (and possibly ChaDemo)
