We don't always, and I don't think we're that unusual.

We're retired, and we live in a highly walkable town. We have e-bikes for
medium trips (up to 15km or so). Thus it's not unusual for the Zoe to sit
in the garage for several days at a stretch, sometimes a week or more.

Most of that time it sits dark and silent, sound asleep. But now and again
it "wakes up" for a while, especially in the wee hours of the morning.

I don't know what it's doing - maybe it's bored and it's playing Space
Invaders or Snake - but it can chow down 1-2% of the battery (500-1000kWh).

The Zoe forum on SpeakEV says I could disconnect the 12v battery to stop
this. However, I haven't been sufficiently annoyed to do so - especially
since I can put it back to sleep by tucking it in and telling it a bedtime
story (actually just opening and closing the driver's door).
