Yes, unfortunately, no one is guiding development with the consumer in mind. I’ve been up north and there are parking lots with outlets at every parking spot I suppose for block heaters. It would fairly easy and cheap to do this more. Then you could plug in at work. I don’t know about in public places since it would leave you EVSE out and available to be stolen.
