Gmail is the most-used email provider on this discussion list. About a THIRD (!) of our subscribers have gmail.com addresses.
Since early March, Gmail - which used to be dead-on reliable - has been bouncing list mail. What's changed? I have no idea. I don't think it's on our end. I've checked the blacklists, and so far evdl.org's IP address comes up with its nose clean. THE SCORE: Since the beginning of May, the EV list has sent 39 individual emails and 5 digests. If you're on Gmail, I suggest that you count how many you've gotten, if you can. Tou might want to make sure that you're getting all pf your non-EV-list email, too. I've spot checked the listserver bounce stats on several Gmail subscriptions. So far, every one of them is bouncing list mail to some extent. Some seem to be bouncing a LOT of it. I haven't seen any bounces lately from the Microsoft services (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, MSN). Yahoo is bouncing a few messages, but nothing like Gmail is. If you're looking to bail on Gmail, here's a free service I'm getting 100% reliability so far from: https://disroot.org/en/ David Roden, EVDL moderator & general lackey To reach me, don't reply to this message; I won't get it.
