I hope that the people affected receive this message! Gmail has for years been one of the most reliable EV list delivery methods.
No more. :-( Lately I've been fielding complaints from Gmail users about missed EV list digests. I also (don't) see missing digests on my Gmail test account since March. I've spot-checked the list delivery status for several Gmail accounts, and every one of them is bouncing mail to at least some extent. No guarantees, but maybe it will help if enough Gmail users specifically whitelist EVDL posts as NOT-SPAM. For the present, though, I'm pulling Gmail as a suggestion from the list help page at evdl.org. I recommend the following free email provider as (so far) 100% reliable for EV list posts (well, digests, anyway): https://disroot.org/en/ It's a bit more effort and time to sign up than others, since (they say) a human volunteer reviews every subscription request. ----- As Jimi Hendrix once asked, "Are You Experienced?" If you are with other free or reasonably priced email services that you know are reliable with email discussion lists, please email me a brief note on it/them at my offlist address (see below). That way I can add them to the Good Guys (tm) list. Features I consider Good Things (tm) but not essential: - Allows mail client access (SMTP, IMAP and/or POP3) - Non-commercial, open source, and/or ad-free - Privacy oriented At the moment I'm not seeing any bounce problems with Yahoo, or with any of the Microsoft mail operations (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, MSN).
