I must be misunderstanding you.  Are you actually suggesting that what the 
sheriff's office wrote on Fakebook was a "stretch" and thus NOT reasonable?  
Because it totally IS reasonable.  

It appears to me that something of a cult has grown up around Tesla and its 
autopilot.  That's not good.  Cults lead people to irrational thinking and 
sometimes to dangerous and/or antisocial acts.
