Very nice graphics. Note that, after coal, natural gas supplies 30%. I
wonder what the CO2 output is for natural gas, including fracking and
other production steps. (Sorry, I'm not taking the time to research
this right now.)
Regardless of what percentage of current EV owners use solar or wind as
their energy source, that percentage is irrelvant for the future. Two
reasons:
1. If everyone were to buy an EV today, by definition, the percentage of
owners using wind or solar would be eqivalent to the overall production
of power from wind and solar.
2. Early adopters behave differently from main stream users.

You can also do this by examining the local utility fuel source in more
detail. Overall, the U.S. is only 39% coal. Some states are more,
some less. Each utility usually has a web page with their numbers.
