That's a legal document you're talking about. If the owner is correct, he would be effectively giving up the ownership rights he paid for. A couple of times, I've decided I don't need that program that badly after all. I also read mortgages before I sign them - all legal documents, in fact. If I were the owner here, I'd take that document to an attorney for an independent expert interpretation. If it really does allow Tesla to take the car on their unilateral determination that it's unsafe, it's an outrage. Tesla claims it doesn't really say that.
