I can't commit to having CCK2 work indefinitely as changes to Firefox are
constantly breaking it. For example, All of the CCK2 bookmark code is broke
on Firefox 60 right now.

Part of the reason we're doing policy support is because of that. As a
matter of fact, some of the policies exist only because they are mapping to
stuff I put in the CCK2.

I do plan to make the CCK2 generate code that uses the policy manager where
available.

As far as Autoconfig goes, we have no plans to deprecate on the ESR.
