Tried pnc config on my host computer, 7i 90 wasn't specified in the drop
down. It's been about 2 months since last update, this is a 64 bit system.
My lappy is a Dell 610 and has parallel port. I am able to connect with my
cell as a hotspot but downloading the linuxcnc os will probably kill my
data. Also this lappy is a 32 bit system , so I'm a bit unsure if that's
going to matter. I already have the 7i90 support with mesaflash on this
lappy , but it's a Ubuntu 12.04 system, no lcnc. I'm awaiting the think
penguin wifi adapter for my host machine. No internet connectivity until
then. I haven't had much luck networking the lappy to the host computer
with the wifi connection using the laptop as the server. I'm going to
presume my best bet is just to wait for the wifi adapter to show and go
from there. I'm still amiff at the 7i90 not being in the pncconfig drop
down. I can shuffle the 7i90.zip with USB and have it on the desktop of my
host machine. Where does it need to be extracted ? Thanks in advance
