Whilst going through the slow process of cnc'ing my mill, I have been trying to work out how to cnc mill crankshafts on it using my rotary axis.
Specifically, machining the crankpins while having the blank turning on it's main journal axis. I know the tool will have to move in both y and z axis simultaneously, but at that point, my imagination and knowledge fail me. Are there any pre-existing routines out there that can take the crank throw and crankpin diameter and generate the relevant g code ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
