Hi,
Working on the retrofit of a lathe. Things are going pretty fine,
machine is already producing some parts, but I got a problem I don't
find any issue.
The machine use potentiometer to get override spindle speed, override
feedforward, and maxTravelSpeed. This is working nicely with halui
connection, and the maxTravelSpeed is really useful to slow down machine
when it come scary.
Unfortunately, this does not work for jog move on Axis, as well as it
don't work for homing. I would like to have this maxSpeed setting to be
always the max possible speed for the machine. Is it possible, shall I
applies modifications ? For jog move, this is quite dangerous, as you
have the feeling that the machine will move slowly, but no, I can go
full throotle (depend on Axis slider).

Which Halui pins are you using?
You probably need to connect both halui.rapid-override and
halui.max-velocity (and setp the corresponding direct-value pins to
true)
