They Just Work(TM). Careful shopping on ebay will get you below $50/copy. I bought a spare by getting 5 for the 4 axis mill on the first order, 2 more for the lathe later. The 7nth, is still in the box in a drawer in the tool box next to the lathe. By now I would have destroyed at least 2 or 3 more of the A3977 based cards, something I got tired of after the third one.
