Geckos are great for a no-brainer - they just work - solution..

I ordered a set of these recently for a very price sensitive project:

If you do some searches on the web there are people using this drive 
with success..  and for $18.50 that is hard to beat.

The downside is that the free shipping takes 10-30 days..  but I am 
patient.  :-)
