I use my CNC lathe far more often than the CNC mill.
Maybe I make a disproportionate number of round things, or maybe it is
because as a kid we always had a lathe but no mill.

I even like to use the lathe to square up stock.

It helps that my lathe is set up with some simple macros so no
programming is needed:

Though I wouldn't do it that way if I was doing it now, I would use ngcgui.
