Just a FYI - I have two Emco Compact-8 lathes; both purchased 2nd hand. One is going to be a CNC lathe; *everything* is interchangeable between lathes, so collets, chucks, steadies, etc can be shared.
Hopefully, this is a good idea! Time will tell.
