All depends on what you want to do and how much support you need etc.

I'd take a look at Featurecam also.  Not too expensive but pretty powerful.

All of these programs have a learning curve so I would try and find 
someone from the company who can take your files and demo the software 
based on what
you want to start with.

IE, if you are using Inventor, have them take your Inventor files import 
them into their software and produce gcode etc.

Getting a demo version and thinking that you will be able to evaluate 
their software in a day is unreasonable IMO.  Some of the CAM software 
is very complex.
