If you take the endmill out, you won't have to change the program -- maybe
there is a divide-by-zero that doesn't happen unless the tool is in the
right spot.

I'd try to do away with cutting most of the slots that you know work, to
reduce the wait if nothing else. Looks like that can be done by changing
line 57 from #10=0 to #10=17 .
