Andy thank you. ... Doug, I agree. The concept of what is 'practical' in one arena is not in another. A little home wood router is very much a different animal than a big CNC mill. So the concept of the solution is pretty much identical, but the fact of implementation is really different.
I enjoy the diversity of this list, with folks that have 'real' industrial equipment, and garage hobbiests. Great ideas come from folks that think about problems, and some re-think the same issues without pre-conceived solutions. Yea, some may be 'hair brained' (like mine!) but there is usually a nugget we can all take home from anyones perspective that really adds to the community. ...oops, i got back on that soap box....
